Always try to keep your laptop in a well-ventilated, cool environment and ensure you don’t block the fan grills on the sides, back, or bottom of the laptop at any time.

Avoid touching or playing with your LCD screen.

Whatever you do, don’t drop your laptop. keep it safe inside a carrying case when moving around or traveling.

If you need to have a drink while working or playing, be careful not to spill it on the keyboard(assuming you’re not using spill resistance laptop).

Security wise, make sure you have installed an good antivirus program.

Once in a while, clean the screen and the keyboard with a soft, dry flannel cloth. Don’t use any kind of liquid cleanser to clean your laptop.
