Earlier i had published a post mentioning some free sites for sending free SMSs to mobile phones. But some times you forget sites’ address, some sites require login first to send free SMS, sites might be temporarily down or do not provide facility to send free SMS in your country. Here is solution for this- Callwave Yahoo Widget.

With Yahoo Widget -Callwave you can send free SMS world wide. There is no limit for messages sent in the USA and Canada. Currently, you can send up to 5 messages per day to other countries using Callwave free Text Messaging service.

Follow these steps for Installing Yahoo Widget- Callwave for sending free SMSs Worldwide:

  • First Download Yahoo Widget engine.
  • Download Callwave Widget.
  • Run widgetsus.exe to install Yahoo! Widget Engine downloaded earlier.
  • This will install a Yahoo widget icon in tray bar, left click on it and select open Widget from the menu.
  • Browse the Callwave SMS widget downloaded in step 2 and open it.
  • A Callwave SMS window will appear, click on the use widget option.
  • Send Free SMS World wide using Yahoo Widget

  • Another window will appear, you have to configure it accordingly to your country before start using free SMS widget.
  • Click on the italic i icon bottom right side fill the email address and phone number, you will receiver a verification code on your mobile number. You have enter the verification coed before you can go further. Note: Use + sign before the country code.

You can chat with your friends on Yahoo Messenger without installing any software. Suppose you are surfing the net from cybercafe or office and you need to log into Yahoo Messenger to chat with your friends. But the computer you are using doesn’t have the Yahoo Messenger installed. Simple, head over to http://webmessenger.yahoo.com/. You’ll be asked if you want to use the web-based version of Yahoo Messenger. If you login and proceed, you will find your familiar friends list showing you who is online and who isn’t. You will soon be chatting directly from your browser and you can also chat with your friends on Windows Live Messenger.
